- One of our favorite tomatoes to grow here on our farm! The fruits are very consistent in size (7-8 ounces) and shape (flattened globe). Allowed to fully ripen to a deep golden yellow, these tomatoes are very sweet with low acidity. For a tangier tomato, pick them a bit earlier when they are a lighter yellow.
